When families struggle, pets are affected, too. This leads to loved pets being given up to animal shelters, by heartbroken owners who think this is their only option.
Pet food banks, low cost veterinary care, behavioral training, and other support for pets exist—more and more every day, as the Human Animal Support Services community-focused model of animal services spreads to new communities.
But people haven’t always known how to find, or access, these resources. That’s where pets.findhelp.com comes in to fill this urgent need.
Simply enter your zip code, then search pets.findhelp.com for whatever pet services you’re interested in, from pet food pantries and training, to veterinary care and more. You can also browse the free and low-cost pet support services in your area.
The platform is launching nationally first launching in Human Animal Support Services partner cities like Atlanta, GA, San Diego, CA, Fresno, CA, Rochester, NY, Dallas, TX and many more, with plans to expand across the country throughout 2022.
